About

Here at DK Construction we like to give back both personally & professionally. We have been involved with the construction of 4 Habitat for Humanity homes. We volunteered for 5 trips to the gulf coast after Katrina, passing out cleaning supplies, performing mud outs, installing new insulation, sheetrock, flooring and plumbing and electrical, framed new homes and performed final trim outs so people could get in their new home. We traveled to Zimbabwe, Africa on three separate occasions to help rebuild a hospital. We helped lead a team to build a handicap ramp for a lady who was severely injured in an automobile accident.

Doug personally serves on the fix it team at his church where they serve widows and widowers with home upkeep needs. Doug is a deacon in the church, teaches a Sunday school class for young adults and serves on the property committee. Doug enjoys utilizing the talents and abilities God gave him to help others. He offers these things not as boasting or for recognition but so people understand that his motivation is not chasing money but helping people and furthering God’s kingdom.
